Recycling Overview

blue cart
Recycling is more important today than it has ever been before. In order to keep our communities safe and clean, we all must pitch in to help recycle and reuse as much as possible. Butte County residents of Thermalito, Kelly Ridge, Las Plumas and South Oroville will be provided curbside recycling and greenwaste collection starting in October 2007. This comes at no additional cost to customers with existing collection service.

Butte county residents in areas without curbside collection may still bring their recycling and greenwaste to the Norcal Waste Systems of Butte County facility. It is located at 2720 South Fifth Avenue in Oroville, and is open during our normal business hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Only place recyclable materials into your blue container!
